Chris is an attorney in the firm’s commercial litigation group. He manages matters involving commercial disputes, merchant cash advance, purchases of receivables, commercial contracts, usury law, insurance law, and commercial collections. He routinely handles arbitrations, litigations, appeals, and mediations. He has experience litigating several high profile matters involving defeating attempts to recharacterize merchant cash advance and factoring contracts.
Chris is admitted to practice law in the state courts of New York and Connecticut, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the United States Second Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of The Maritime Law Association of the United States, and the Nassau County Bar Association.
Chris earned his Juris Doctor at SUNY Buffalo Law School, where he graduated with honors (cum laude). Chris received the CALI Award in Advanced Civil Procedure: Multiparty Litigation. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Delaware.
