Evan Goldschlag joined the firm in 2024.
Prior to joining the firm, Evan graduated from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, as well as earning a Master of Science with honors in International Transportation Management with a certificate in Advanced Supply Chain Management and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Operations from the State University of New York Maritime College.
After earning an unlimited tonnage Third Officer merchant mariner’s license during his undergraduate study, Evan worked as a merchant mariner. During his time at sea, Evan reached the esteemed position of Captain, earning a Master of Towing license and becoming a U.S. Coast Guard designated examiner along with a Second Officer unlimited tonnage license.
During his time at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law, Evan served as a member of the Hofstra Law Review. Outside of his studies, Evan was elected as President of the Dispute Resolution Society and was selected and earning high finishes in multiple national mock trial and negotiation competitions. He continues to further develop his passion and skills in litigation and alternative dispute resolution not just with the firm but as a coach for the Maurice A. Deane School of Law alternative dispute resolution competition teams.
Using his hands on experience at sea as well as ashore in the various parts of the supply chain, Evan is able to assist clients in a broad range of domestic and international transportation related matters.
